 International Media Production Zone The International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) in Dubai aims to create an exclusive environment for media production companies from across the world to cooperate and join forces effectively. The IMPZ caters exclusively to companies from the graphic art, publishing, and packaging industries. It is an initiative of the Dubai government, developed under the supervision of TECOM Investments, a member of Dubai Holding. The vast IMPZ complex is set in an area of over 43 million sq. ft. of land, and is located in the mid of commercial Dubai. It is situated on the Emirates Road, in close proximity to the Jebel Ali Port.
The International Media Production Zone is the first free zone in the Middle East, dedicated to media production activities. This set-up supports all sectors of the media and entertainment production industry with particular stress on publishing, printing, broadcasting, film and music. IMPZ incorporates commercial, residential and community service projects under its umbrella and provides an efficient and highly facilitated business environment. IMPZ has an initial investment budget of US$280 million with an additional US$280 million expected to be invested by the members (tenants and investors) for apparatus and equipment.  Dubai Outsource Zone Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ) is the world’s first and only free zone for the outsourcing industry. It provides a highly facilitated infrastructure, location and environment for outsourcing and offshore companies to set up global or local centers, servicing the global market. An initiative of Dubai Internet City, the DOZ is a project of TECOM Investments, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding.

 Dubai Industrial City In its bid to diversify and sustain its economic growth, the Dubai government, along with Dubai Holding, proposed the creation of Dubai Industrial City (DI) in year 2004. This self-reliant city caters to the industrial sector that up till now has contributed around $8 billion to Dubai’s GDP. With a budget of $200 million for the first phase of construction, and year 2015 as the projected year of completion, it is estimated that DI will contribute in excess of $10 billion to Dubai’s GDP by year 2010. DI Master Plan According to the DI master plan, there are six distinct industrial zones for specific manufacturing activities in Dubai. They are: - Machinery and Mechanical Equipment
